I think the improvment that you'll get from poly PHB bushings will be more of a change in "feel". The eighth of an inch or so less bushing compression with poly shouldn't mean very much (when tire lateral deformation will exceed an inch), but the "feel" should be "more linear".

To help you go faster, a mod doesn't have to add anything to the ultimate measured performance if it makes it easier for you to drive up to the car's existing capabilities.

Keep in mind that the PHB is not oriented in precisely the lateral direction in the car. A little belt-sanding is probably in order to free up the PHB motion and eliminate poly to bracket stiction.

Just to let you know, the spherical design non-metallic suspension bushings will be banned by NASA TT next year.

So much for J&M bushings!
