Default Will gravel driveway hurt soft tires like NT555

I unfortunately have a gravel driveway, and I am not sure what will happen if I put on a nice new set of NT555's only to park on gravel.
Sound like a bad idea?

The regular 555s are treadwear 300. The 555RII is TW 100. Putting either one on gravel wouldn't bother me or the tire one bit but the RIIs will pick up the gravel and fling it on your flanks. The paddock at VIR is gravel. When you come off track with hot tires (RII) and go thru the gravel it gets embedded in the rubber and then will take a lap to get off next time you go out. But street driving that shouldn't be an issue.

I was driving on Gravel with my Toyos for 6 years, only bad part is keeping them clean.
