Question Big Brakes

I want to upgrade my brakes to Brembo 14". Are the upgrade Ford Racing Packages as sold by A-M and Moss the same as the factory? If not what is the difference? They are both 14" roters and 4 piston calipers w/ss hoses.

Yes they are the same as factory, except for the SS lines.

Make sure your wheels will fit over the new calipers. Shelby 500 or 19" Mustang GT Brembo wheels required.

Cheers.

Default Wheel Clearance

I have aftermarket 19" wheels from A-M and there should not be an issue with the roter clearance and there is at least 1" clearance between the caliper and the wheel spokes. I will check with A-M before I purchase the brake kit. THANX

Good. Make sure with them. Many of their after-market wheels will not go over the Brembos even if they are styled similarily to the Shelbys. Also realize now that you will not have a spare for the front. May want to purchase an inflation/repair kit such as comes with the Shelby. Just a heads up so no surprises.

Cheers.

Well technically you do but it is on the back of the car. It only means swapping two wheels and tires in the event of a flat.

Or you can do like I do and carry one of the track tires as a spare. I just hope I never have to use it in the wet.

Default Won't fit

I checked with A-M and the Big Brake kit will not fit. The caliper is very wide and needs much more clearance than the wheels will give.

THANX for all the input!
