Default 2013 V6 and GT Premium suspensions the same?

I rented a 2012 Mustang GT in Los Angeles last week and loved it.
I'm buying a new 2013.
Are the suspensions the same between the V6 Premium and GT Premium?
I can't find any info about this. Thanks.

Spring rates & shock tuning will be different. I know even within V6 & GT there are different options. I have the Brembo package & have unique springs & shocks, and get the Boss control arms. The Track Pack cars get their own set of parts, etc.

So the GT will ride stiffer even without special upgrades?

I couldn't say, I have not driven or ridden in a V6. I would expect different spring rates in front at minimum to account for the different engine weights.

I was just poking around the Ford parts site & saw there are literally 12 different shock part numbers (6 ea front & rear), and about 10 different spring part numbers each end. This is just the GT; I am seeing GT, Boss, Shelby listings & separate coupe & convertible listings. That's just springs & shocks. So it's safe to say the short answer to your question is no. The basic setup is the same, but each model variation has a different tuning.

All that said, keep in mind I'm still new to the Mustang myself, so verify all that.

expect a GT without the brembo package to 'feel' comparable to the rental you had.

if you get the brembo package, it includes a different suspension set up, that rides much stiffer. it won't feel like the one you rented.
