Default Adding TCS\ABS

It's been raining around me and I've been losing traction during starts and misc other cases.

I'm wondering that since my pony does not have the Safety and Security package... would it be possible to add TCS and ABS?

I found the following post while looking around and no one seemed to give an answer. I realize that I'd have to get the sensors, HCU, switch, etc from a donor car.

Is there any ECU changes needed?

Maybe I'm going down the wrong path.. maybe there are other mods that would help with this.

The tires are fairly new with good tread and inflated to 35.. and no Armour All...

I would doubt that you could do the add on of ABS. TCS could be accomplished by just putting an LSD or posi unit to your 7.5. You could also upgrade to the 8.8 rear end, if you can find one that you want (gears to your liking). Adding the ABS though would be almost impossible and so costly. Pump, all new lines, m/cyl, sensors at all 4 wheels, sensor in rear diff and ring on the ring gear, wiring, SJ box (reset or replace with correct), and the list goes on.

Just go to a LSD and be done with it. Good luck.

LSD is the answer in my opinion as well.

The '09 didn't have standard ABS? I thought ABS was standard since 1994.

No, only on the v8. The sixes only with TCS would get the ABS.

I took brief look at the differences between LSD and TCS.. I think I'd prefer LSD. That seems to me to give me a lot of other benefits like better takeoff etc. Do you have a link to a post that would help me understand the advantages of the 8.8 rear and the various gears?

yeah, I knew the list of parts was long but it's think that most of them are bolt on.
