Has anyone heard anything about the rear brakes on the 2013 GT500? I have a 2012 GT with Brembos on front and dont like the big difference between the front and rear brakes when looking at the vehicle from the side. Seems like the new GT 500 has 14" brakes on the rear. Would be nice if Ford would come out with a kit for putting these rear brakes on other Mustangs.

Its a 13.8 in rotor. I can not find specs on the width. I heard a Ford dealer on another site say it was a different caliper. If the rotor was still .75in then I don't see why just a bracket upgrade wouldn't work.

The rotor size sounds like a great match for the front brakes apprearance wise. Hope someone tries this soon and posts results! Those brembo wheels dont hide the brakes that uch so the size difference is very visible.

Well Bear and Steeda have Kits for about $550ish. They seem to be custom rotors in those kits. They do not list the rotor specs. I have an email into EBC to see if they have any 4X4.5 Bolt pattern .75 in rotors.

If you not looking for the performance benefit then you could source them from Ford.

Really not interested in a performance improvement. The car stops on a dime as it is and its a daily driver anyway. I dont have the mechanical expertise to put the kit together myself but it seems like retrofitting from the GT500 would work. Hope someone tries this soon and posts results.

What are the details on the ebay kit? I looked it up and have it saved in 'my ebay'. Did you put the kit together? Are the parts the parts from the 13 GT500? Etc. The ad on ebay looks interesting.

Yes, all 2013 GT500 parts. I put it together, installed it and wrote detailed instructions (of course the kit on eBay is brand new).
