Default Spring orientation

Lowering springs - tighter coils on the bottom right? I can't seem to find a definitive answer outside of ink/part numbers.

I just read through TacoBill's install document (very good BTW!) and he said the tighter coils go "up", at least on the rears. I'm guessing front is the same.
