Front end popping, pinpointing it right now, looking for advice

I have drakes endlinks. They said to run the rod out till the bar is parallel to the lca. Then tighten the jam nuts. Mine still rattled so what i did is hold the sway bar in one hand then shorten the rod so nothing was loose. Then hit the jam nuts. My problem is loosness in the ball end. The drakes have a little play that is hard to get compressed. Do yours have any playin the spherical joints? Looking for ones that dont for my car & my rattle is solved.
It feels slightly tigher than stock but I think I am going to extend them a bit more and play around with it more to get it to my liking.

Can you let me know something? If you grab the rod and jiggle it does it only rotate or does it move left/right on the joint. Mine click on the joints. I feel it's a quality issue with the drakes but want to know before dropping another $100 on the SR & still have a loose spherical joint rattling. Thanks!

I pieced together a working endlink from the whiteline kit which has solid ball ends like the SR & did my trick which did quell the slow frequency rattle at the wheel.. Still have a clunk which feels like the center of the sway bar. So I ordered the SR endlinks but its got me perplexed what else is going on. Nothing is loose right now so we'll see what the SR does. The whiteline endlinks come with pretty low strength hardware & I've stripped the jam nuts on one & rounded the nut off on another. With a torque wrench of all tgings. So I hope the SR nuts are as beefy as they look.
