full adjustable Coilover Standard, riding way too stiff
So I got my coilover installed last week, really liked the handling improvement but was really disapointed at how harsh and stiff it was on any bump, my previous 06 gt had H&R strut/shock with lowered spring sway bar UCA, LCA etc and it wasnt riding any close to that, I though I readed around that coilover gave better comfort then regular lowering spring which is not the case with my kit..
my drop wasnt even agressiv, I was riding at the smoothest level and it was still very stiff, it doesnt BANG but it bounce hard and give me headache in my ****ty city road, I then scheduled an appointement with an expert in suspensions, he lowered the car more played with the dampening, spring compression, now the car look sick pretty flush to the fender but ride same if not worst,
I even think this setup kind of slow me down at the drag cause the car is so stiff and glued that it doesnt transfer from rear to front Wheel when lauching at the strip, im guessing this is a lapping setup which make sens cause it really has a crazy handling, the suspension tech told me only thing left would be to swap out the current spring, im running 8kg upfront and rear, I could either switch to 6kg back for better launch at the drag, or switch 6kg front and rear for smoother ride but id lose handling etc...ive tryed to get better info on this, people say it wont really change anything, id need to go to 6 front and 4kg back..? I have no knowledge, experience or yet any idea what is the way to go..
i know been dropping is stiffer, but at this point, if there is no solution I might just throw back my stock shock strut and try another approach on suspension handling (sway, lca, uca, watt link ?)
any opinions would be greatly appreciate.
