Greetings everyone, I have a question, are ball joints replaceable in our cars? The problem with my car is that when I steer left or right sometimes it makes like a "popping" sound and when driving it sometimes jerks a little to the right, what could it, the ball joints or tie rods, any help is greatly appreciated btw my car is an 07 gt

Easiest way to replace the ball joint is to put in new A - arms. The ball joint is integrated in them.

Agreed, ball joints on these cars are best replaced with the entire a-arm. Easier, about the same cost and you also get new bushings on the A-arm which are probably shot as well if the ballpoints are.

if your going to replace the front lower control arms, you don't need to loosen the steering rack. simply unbolt the lower ball joint (might need a chisel in the gap to spread it slightly). undo the tie rod end if you want (not really necessary, but a bit more room) then turn the steering all the way to opposite side (removing pass side arm, turn to drivers side). the front bolt will come out over the steering rack boot, press it down a bit, you wont hurt it, then pull the bolt out. replace arm and hand tighten rear bolts, front bolt back in the same way. simply repeat on other side. good luck
