Need insight on highway vibrations-normal?
Ive had this 06 Mustang for most 1 year, sure it has 160,000 miles on it but it looked well kept, super clean underneath but right away I noticed it was nearly all factory parts. Slapped some new tires on it and drove it for several months with no drive issues. Middle of summer and I started to get a steering wheel vibration on the highway at 60mph and I knew it was time to start upgrading. Had transmission serviced. I have done the brakes, checked calipers, did rotors, rear bearings, front hub bearings. Then with the front end shake I did the front control arms, new strut assemblys, and inner and outer tierods. Took it to have the tire balance checked and alignment done. .Definitely took away the violent wheel shake. I did notice slop in the sway bar links doing that so I have them on the way, not sure if that could be it as I've had that front end clunk over bumps from the start. Other than that, there still is a mild shaking on the highway, just at higher speeds, I can slightly feel it through both the wheel and the floor and I feel like the steering is kind of touchy. Not like play, but doesnt feel as smooth as it was in the beginning. It doesnt do any of this that I can tell when not on the high way. I'm thinking maybe its also the roads here now but, idk something just seems off. Im kind of at a loss of what else I should check without throwing more parts. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
