Default GT 500 rear end housing not painted???

I know i might be a little ticky, but I had a nail in my rear tire. While I had the car up at the shop I got to get under it. I could not help be notice that the rear end housing was not painted! The diff cover is but not the housing. The car is a 09 that is 4 weeks old and it already has surface rust on it! Has anybody else noticed this? Am I complaining over nothing? You would think for that kind of money they would pay a litte attention to details.
OK,l I know you are not going to see under the car everyday. I plan on keeping this car. I think of it as something special that might be a collector car someday. I bought the car to own a piece of history. OK enough of that.
Will others look and let me know if this is a mistake? If it is supposed to be painted I will make the dealer do it. Oh by the way. I had a lug nut cross treaded from the factory. Had to have a new stud put in. Dealer did send me a check to cover cost. Has anyone else had there tires filled with Nitrous? It is great, you don't lose air pressure as often.

Well, Ford no longer paints the diffs or axles since 06, to save cost I guess, mine had surface rust on the diff since day 1, it means nothing except looks, it will never cause a problem! The mufflers where the welds are also rust already and I could could go on!!

They all come that way. People have painted their rear ends and it looks great. Just make sure that the stickers are removed and put back in the same place.
