do you think it would have more pull going from 45-75 than a corvette?

A CAI, tune and pulley will give you a small edge over a C6 in a straight line.
If you want to get close to a Z06, you will need to change the blower and put some decent wheels on it.

I don't think you want to get into a turn with either vette...

absolutely on all.. I rode in a Z06....nice car and fast....it does glide whereas it feels like the gt500 plants your *** in your seat...however the z06 will walk a stock GT500....I would truly hope it would for a car that is almost 35-40K more than a gt500...I dont like the rigidness of the z06 ride...you hit SLIGHTLY rough pavement...and you feel it.....again..the Z06 is a great car....but my GT500 still feels like a MUSCLE CAR....whereas the Z06 is more of a SPORTS CAR with super car capabilities...

If I had 35-40k more to spend....I wouldn't have gotten a gt500.

I would have gotten TWO gt500's!

Yeah, you're comparing apples and pears......the GT 500 is an incredibly fast, comfortable grand touring car that will flatten your eyeballs with acceleration and lay waste to most of the automotive hardware on the road. The Z06 is a sports car with blinding acceleration and horsepower to spare, but it rides like a sports car, feels like a sports car and eventually the fiberglass will begin to spider and crack. If I had wanted a sports car and could afford a Z06, I'd bought a Shelby Cobra!
