I can't post a link to the car but it is lot # 1347.2. It isn't in the physical catalog (just like the hundreds of GM cars that GM is selling off to raise some cash to keep that outfit alive) but Ford has had a tradition of offering its #1 cars to bidders.
This should go off sometime late on Saturday's show.

I recorded and watched the entire event...never saw the 2010 Shelby GT500 go through. They showed the car and said it would run through on Saturday. Did anyone see it?

 

Unfortunately due to Carroll being under the weather it will now be auctioned off in April.

yeah, I just saw this in the e-mail from Ford Racing:

the anticipated sale of the "right to buy" the first production 2010 Shelby GT500 was postponed when Carroll Shelby had to cancel his planned surprise visit. Save your money as the car will be sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach in April.
