and if you read in this link like i posted above, it says this kit allows you to use the stock hood w/ the whipple 3.4

for an additional $725 it will fit under the stock hood which as I pointed out earlier means changing motor mounts etc....I still feel you are better off with the TVS...at least until some people test and try out the whipple 2.9....

CHEFTJPACK:This is the second time you provide valuble information that i find useful to me, i dont know if you remember the first time you reply to me, anyways, i cant get kenne bell cuz they dont ship outside the u.s. i was going for the mamooth stage 3 kit.
i checked with whipple, the 3.4l is too big, and like you said its not about size. i thought about the 2.9l but again like you said its only coming out in 30-60days.
my questions are:
why all these kits come without a cooler?
why does whipple sell the supercharger+throttle body only? (no tuner,cooler,intake)
if i go for tvs, how can i get it?

No cooler, because they utilize the stock intercooler..however you can always upgrade relatively cheap
I believe most sites (lethal etc) sell it with a tune etc...the TVS come with the FRPP tune...which is conservative so warranty can be maintained...however..many great tuners like Justin (VMP) and John Lund) at evolution have some great proven tunes for them....
TVS, you can get it from vmptuning.com....or ebay ...allot of places sell them reasonable...blue oval has them ..hope this helps..

just playing devil's advocate here, the motor mounts and mods to put in the 3.4 whipple, maybe it's easier to put another hood on there.
