First 2010 GT500 sold

The beautiful GT500 in Kona Blue with White stripes has been sold at Barrett-Jackson's auction for $150,000.
The profits, after the MSRP cost of the car, go towards Carroll Shelby's Children's Foundation, which provides heart transplants for children.

The show on Speed did not show the car very well, and didn't discuss the major upgrades of the 2010 and the all new interior and 540 hp, but that's okay. They raised a lot of $$$!

Wow i kinda expected more for the car... but still thats a lot of money and im glad its going to a worthy charity.

Any idea what upgrades Ford is going to do to it before they turn it over to the new owner? They mentioned it was going back to the factory for "some" upgrades.
