Shelby GT500 Prices? FL Area..
Hey Guys,
I've been wanting to join this section of mustangforums ever since i first saw a '07 GT500.
Can't stand not having one any longer, so i plan on coming to the states (currently living in south america, suriname) to look for one in Aug. I'll be in Miami and looking at ford dealerships in the area.
I'll be putting both of my rides up for sale to make it happen. I've seen GT500 prices on ebay reach as low as $37000 with decent mileage (3000-9000 miles). I was hoping to find one between $30000 - $35000.
I'd be able to pay more if it wasn't for the 80% import taxes/fees!! on vehicles over here.
My GT cost about $55000 to my door.
Do you think i'll be able to find one in my price range? So far the cheapest i've found in dealer inventory was $41000.

IMO just as the 05to09 mustang are going up in price as the 09 sell off they may raise some ,all that would be left to order is an 2010 some of the dealer have seen an increase on 05to09 Mustang?? Watch the market as thing move up so will these low mileage gt500. The time is right to buy one soon. good luck !!!

thanks for the input.
yes, i was talking about a used GT500. though brand new would be better though i doubt they'll ever reach $35K like that. Used is also fun sometimes, when the previous owner had already done some modifying,.. i saw some GT500's on ebay that were in the low 40's and had CAI, Tune, Pulley, one even had a full header-exhaust setup. Besides Ebay and Autotrader, are there any other sites or ways i could find GT500's in the FL area? As i said earlier, i would only be in Miami for a week, so i'd be cutting it close if i handn't even found a "deal" yet. I already checked most of the dealers there inventory..so far nothin'

On another note, this will be my first RWD manual car since i got my license.
I'm 21 right now and i've had my license since i was 18, my first car was a manual honda prelude which i kept stalling like a moron the first two weeks i had it (it had a bitchy aftermarket 6-puck clutch). Sold it after only driving for 5 months (after i drove my friends 02 auto GT and discovered RWD lol). Was never a great manual driver, hoping to get much better now.. how do you think i'll fair.. any tips?:P
