I'll have to disagree. FRPP tunes are based on 93 octane. (I called and asked when I was getting some knock.) That's why there's the octane adjust feature in the pro cal.
I called FRPP to day and they told me they do not provide a 93 octane tune in the black or the blue procal tools, the only difference is in the gear sets. You must progrsm your own 93 octane tune I guess??
I guess the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing up there becasue the guy I talked to said the pro cal is for made for 93. I see you have an 08. Maybe he meant the 2010 is different? It is more agressive than previous years because of the knock sensors. BTW this isn't the first time I've gotten conflicting information from FRPP.
The problem is when they add ethanol (which is over 100 octane) they use a cheaper grade of fuel to bring it back down to 91. I'm thinking this is not an exact science so basically I'm getting 87 with ethanol added to make 91. No biggie, the octane adjust only zaps a few hp and I know it's safe.

ProCal 2 tuners may be different. The first ProCal tuners do not allow changes.
