indeed, that is a very sharp car, but as some of the others have mentioned, power-wise it's going to be pretty much tapped out. you can definitely pick up a GT500 cheaper than that, spend less than $2,500 on some performance goodies and have more that 600hp at the crank easy....it just comes down to what you really want because these are 2 totally different cars

The Shelby is a no brainer Boss.
Anyone can make a Roush out of a GT, and for a lot cheaper than what they're asking.
Also, the GT500 will have better resale value

The Roush is very cool and I'd love to have one. But for the money, definitely the GT500. Especially in 2011 form with the AL block and SVT performance package.

thats a little rich IMO for a car that is at its max or close to it in the power realm...
60-70K? no way prolly more like 50K

HUH??? Where have you seen a BRAND NEW Roush SUPERCHARGED car for under 55k??
just because the package states its 15k does not mean you simply take a gt and add 15k??
now if you plan on doing all your self then ok...but that price does not includes labor, paint, bodywork etc...a roush 427r goes for 55,218...plus any adm a dealer might add...
a roush p51 (another very limited edition) was going for 60-65k??

so I stand behind my estimate...wait until they hit the showroom floors....you will see the prices I stated....
