That's what I thought. That's not the invoice price.

Bug Difference in MSRP and Invoice, for the car you mentioned the invoice was most likely around 52K or maybe just a bit higher. It would be nice if they had problems selling shelbys so we could really get it under invoice.

You're right. My bad. I was thinking sticker because I had been hearing they're selling for sticker, barely, occasionally a discount. I talked to 1/2 a dozen dealers before I bought mine. Most were asking MSRP. Mine was the best deal I could find for the packages I wanted.

No worries. I was just gonna say if you really did get a new GT500 for $3K below invoice, I want to enroll in the Boss Hoss Rider School of Negotiation!! LOL

Well I managed to get a little more than $2600 off the MSRP. Race Red Coupe with SVT package but no electronics package. Hopefully it will be arriving at the dealership soon.

If you can try to find a used 2011, they drop the price enough because it used but its still going to be near 50K. I got my 2011 with the SVT and electronics package for 48K, but that was with 3K miles. So its possible to get them, just gotta find the right seller.

I bought mine back in late June at 51,000. The sticker was 53,000. So ya the deals are out there just have to find the right dealer. Also when I was looking they were the only dealer in 50 mile radius to have one. So they could of charged a premium however they were very professional in dealing with us and knew the value of a car that is produced in numbers of 6,000+ (not sure of the exact number). This is not a rare vehicle and the dealers need to realize that. If they are not willing to budge move on to a dealer that will.

I will say this though. I absolutely love my car. Has been my dream car for a while. So if its what you want, determine what you will pay for it. You will not be disappointed. No matter what you pay for it

We have two GT500's right now and a couple more on the way. On eBay we have them at MSRP, but we're negotiable. We have a sweet all white coupe with no stripes - the only option on it is the SVT Perf pkg. It's like a blank slate if you want to customize it. Both of the ones currently on the floor are lightly optioned and so are relatively inexpensive (for a Shelby). We have a Red one on the way too.
