On that note, let's hear some advice and tips on the cheapest and easiest way to achieve... say... 80hp over stock. That would be plenty for me.

Other than that, I'm going to focus on building myself an amazing "Looking" and "Sounding" car. There's plenty on the styling front for me to spend several thousand on. So, I can still have fun and spend money on my baby.

First, it's gonna be a hood and front clip me thinks. I always loved the SMS red butterfly hood, but no one seems to sell them anymore. Were they discontinued or something?

Tune, pulleys, headers and exhaust, CAI should nab you something like 75-80 over stock.

Thanks Red. I'm thinking it might be a few more years before I join you as a GT500 owner. Then, again, I usually tend to fail at self-control... so....

Hey, man, we should get together for a Zion run some weekend.

best bang for the buck. hands down.
and a simple blower swap will get you a lot more bang.

but it sounds like you dont have your own mind made up yet.
I've actually been thinking about this option. All I want is a good looking mustang that sounds brutal and is capable of handing a 500 or so rwhp. But I need to be able to afford it. I'm hoping my current GT is worth $10k.
