Default Deep Draw Hood?

I saw pictures of the Deep Draw Hood on a 2010 Shelby has anybody heard any news about any copies being made? I did a bunch of searches and evidently Shelby is bad about selling parts. Funny to because Shelby himself said on TV the other day that is where the money is to be made. And the DDH for the 09s is still not available from what what I can find. I really like the looks of that hood and wish somebody would make a copy in carbon.

I've been looking for about two years and still haven't found any faithful repros.
My guess is because the Shelby DDH is a 'restricted item' meaning it is only sold to registered Shelby GT, Shelby GT-H, CS6 or CS8 owners. This makes it hard to get a hold of one to knock off.
I find it odd that Shelby restricts this item...A Deep Draw Hood does not a Terlingua make.
I'm convinced that the DDH would be a real earner for Shelby based on the number of inquiries I've seen on various forums.

Is the CS8 hood a DDH clone without a working vent?

Anyone know if you could make the vent function?

Anyone want to sell the Terlingua DDH from their Terlingua they might like to part ways with?

All the hoods can be referred to as a Deep Draw Hood, or more appropriately, a Heat Extractor Hood. However, the CS6, CS8, and GT/SR hoods are NOT functional; the oval sections are not cut out; I suppose they could be. All the hoods are made of handlaid fiberglass. There are some slight differences in the domed section though. The last two are slightly larger to allow room for the optional centrifugal supercharger.

-Shelby GT-H Style 1.25" shallow draw
-CS6, CS8, GT/SR Style 2.375" medium draw
-Terlingua Style 2.625" deep draw

Lastly, to my knowledge, Shelby Performance Parts has discontinued these hoods.

Bummer that they discontinued the Terlingua DDH.

Yes someone should sell a copy of that hood. It at least makes some functional sense.

I ended up buying and am very happy with my Tiger Racing hood. All carbon fiber weighs 14.5lbs.
