Default gt500 brembos onto regular Gt

I have a 08 mustang Gt and was thinking about swapping over the front brake set from a 09 Gt500. From what i read the brake booster and master cylinder are the same but i would need to change the front spindles, calipers and rotors, is this all i need?

All you need is caliper and rotors. There is no need to change spindles

Every GT500 started life as a GT. Allthe parts are a direct fit.

Gt500s aren't modified GTs

they're assembled seperately at the Ford plant, though perhaps on the same lines, not sure about that.

They are all made on same frame and underpinnings. They will attach with no problems.

I believe the word would be "optioned" GT. They are a Mustang GT.

Don't forget the GT500 wheels. Regular GT wheels will no longer fit once you put the Brembo's on.

I take it you will not be using the base GT 17" or 18" wheels with the bigger brakes?

Base 17" and 18" GT wheels will not fit over the GT500 Brembo calipers. You must use
GT500 wheels.
