Here is how I did my install:
First get yourself a large roll of 3M blue painters tape. Tape the whole front portion of the hood, where you would anticipate the hood pins to be located. This tape will protect the paint when drilling. Now install the radiator brackets and posts. Once the posts are installed adjust them to the lowest position so they just touch the inside of the hood, and put a glob of peanut butter on the end of each post. Gently close your hood so the peanut butter transfers to the underside of the hood. Now you know where to drill your small pilot hole from the inside out. The directions say to use a hole saw, but I didn't, I used a series of step bits, they worked like a charm. I started with a thin bit and worked my way up testing the clearance as I went. Good luck, it's not a very difficult install.
