*Need new clutch for Shelby*
sup guys
My clutch is starting to squeak and click slightly when i lift off the pedal.
Im assuming the barrings are going and its bearable to drive with for now but I should replace it soon.
Im just thinking what clutch I should get and if its even worth upgrading at all?
The SGT is all engine stock (with the exception for the factorys intake box, tune, 3.55 rear end and an off road H pipe the previous guy installed. SO were not talkin serious power.
Im pretty sure they dont upgrage the clutch from the 07GT when it visits Shelby auto but Im not too sure.
Is it even worth upgrading to a stage 2 or 3? or is the wear and maintenance too much? ( especially since i wont be modding power anytime soon)
And finally, whats the usual total cost for a clutch, parts needed and install?

Isn't the only difference in a Shelby GT and a GT like a cold air intake giving it like 10-15 hp?
Clutch would be the same. If you are mostly stock and don't plan on adding more power there would be no reason to go for a 3 or 3+ clutch. I would probably look at a mid-range Spec clutch.

yea that is what i was thinking.
btw. should I be changing the clutch or flywheel or both?
Im not really getting issues slipping yet just the light noises it makes when i lift off the clutch. Im at 45k miles and was told the clutch should be good for at least 60k
