Default Bumper Defect?

Hi everyone,

I noticed on the rear bumper of my 16 GT that there are two vertical lines, one on each side under the taillights. Is this a defect in the bumper or do other cars have them? I haven't really looked closely at others before but noticed them on mine while washing it. They seem to be symmetrical on each side of the bumper as well. I'll attach some photos but it's hard to catch it on camera. Any input would be appreciated!

They are not on mine. Perhaps something backed into you gently and creased the plastic bumpers.

I don't think anyone backed into me and I can't feel the lines with my fingers; it's smooth. It seems like it's under the clear coat, possibly an imperfection in the bumper itself that was painted over. I find it odd that it's absolutely symmetrical on the other side of the bumper.

I know it's a late reply but I'm new to the forum. I have the marks also. The light has to hit the bumper just right to see them. I've looked at other new mustangs and have seen the marks.
