Default 99-04 Saleen Underhood Dress up.

So I am looking for a little advice here. I am thinking of puttling a little bit of "bling Bling" under my 04 Vert. My Wife needs to get me something for X mas and I can't talk her into the Supercharger Intercooler or Brake upgrade just yet. I am looking at the UPR products for the following:
Stainless Radiator Cover, Fuse Box Cover, Radiator Cap Cover, Power Steering Cap Cover, and Windshield Washer cover.
Anybody done these for there 99-04 car and do you have some pictures I can see? How is the quality at UPR? Do you reccomend anyone else I should look at andwhere is the best place to buy this type of stuff? I show the car a few times a year and so I just want to neaten it up a little bit. Do you think that is too much? Not enough? Feedback and opinions is what I am looking for. I am not looking to go totaly chrome underhood just some specific pieces that will help to dress it up a little.

I am also thinking of SA10 Chevrons for the front fenders. Any thoughts on that? Do you know where I can get those?

Thank you,
Peace

Save yourself some time and skip the engine decoration! Engines are meant to get dirty from use. Just leave your hood down at shows and you'll save yourself hours of engine detailing!

You could always talk her into a big air MAF (which you'll need soon anyway if you plan on more mods..), some bigger injectors,or that tonneau cover that Polk pitched as a suggestion to A1Saleen...

I personally don't prefer all the shiny stuff in an engine. I'd rather spend the money on something to increase performance or functionality.....but then again I drive my car more than I take it to shows...so maybe you're in a different boat.

PS-this is for an 05 mustang...but this will give you an idea how it would look:

lol, I know the hours of detailing aren't as fun as they were when I was younger and had more time to dedicate to it. I keep it pretty clean for the most partso it will be minimal and Sowaxxmen has reccomended a product called CD-2 that I think will help. I also want the mods as well so I agree with that. I will see. That picture you sent me is from the UPR Catalog/website right? I like it but again still on the fence.

The LFP Ice Box (intercooler fluid reservoir) will give you some bling and a touch of functionality.

Mills do you have that? I assume that is a direct replacement for the plastic resevoir that is on the car now right? Its all aluminum and you can see the welds? Where can I see a picture of that?
Thanks btw.

LFP Ice Box.....on a Cobra.

I don't have one on mine. I'm still partial to the flat black reservoir look with the Saleen logo on it.

I'm pretty sureHollywood has one on his. Regarding actual coolingpotential, I can't imagine that's it's better than a good H/E upgrade (unless you're running ice in it at the tracK). Hollywood really knows his way around these though.....he could probably provide better/more objective information.

I like that Mills, thank you. I too am partial to the Saleen/Ford Black one as well but that one from LFP looks pretty sharp. How is the Intercooler that you have in your E car? I am thinking of the one that Chicane has that goes under the blower as my next big mod in the spring. Do they do anythng differently on the E Cars?

From what I understand, the shortcomings of my intercooler aren't that much different from the 2002 - 2004 intercoolers. Joe claims the biggest gains for the Chicane intercooler come from the 2002 - 2004 Extremes.

ExtremeSaleen (haven't seen him post on here in a while) use to own a 2002 Extreme (#12) and had this done. However,he had to rebuild his motor and I only ever saw the numbers he posted after the rebuild and added mods were completed.
