Default Value of 2001 Saleen SC

Alright guys...I already kinda looked around but wanted your opinions on this. My old man is looking at getting a 2001 Saleen SC covert. with 35k miles, manual, local car, pretty much perfect condition. uhmmm...what else...I think that's about it. Oh if it matter dark grey exterior, black interior. Asking 25k....what do ya'll think?

You could do this a few ways. First, look up the value the car as a GT Stang and add the value of a Saleen package. I would probably figure $5~7k and use your judgement if it is worth it to you.

Second, someone will chime in on a specific site, I think SOEC has a link, and go that route.

Third, just give the guy $75K. There may be a hidden treasure map in the trunk under the spare tire that will lead to a fortune in gold and jewels. This will also serve to boost your credit rating

You just described my car! (although I only have 25k miles and I have an 02).

$25k isn't a bad price for a vert....but I think you could probably get them a little lower. Times are tough for muscle cars.....

way.. way.... way off on that. base GT isn't worth diddly squat these days. 01 S/C Saleen is actually worth nearly 3 times what an 01 GT is worth (in the books)

btw, it can't be looked up on KBB; NADA.com is the only book that Saleen is appraised through.
