You are going to have to get a better supercharger if you plan on building the motor and upping the boost and want any real power. The Roush blower works fine for the stock motor though

What he said. The Roush blower is fine for what it is, but you can make much more power with another blower.

I'm happy with my '08 427R. I installed the Roush CAI and tune, and it seems to do just fine.

Keep in mind that S281s are usually not supercharged, so this may have something to do with the win...

That would explain why it was so slow. I thought the S281's were all supercharged. My mistake.
