Check ebay and car sites locally (Autotrader, Craigslist etc...). Find cars similar to yours and price it based on other asking prices.
Market sucks for specialty cars right now. There are a few in the Miami area for $13-$14K.

Thanks Matt.....That is what I have listed it for 13,000. I had one dealership offer me 2400......needless to say I walked out and told them how offensive that was. 2 other dealerships offered me 8500.00. I know it is worth more than that. You are right...it is a speciality car. I hate to get rid of it....I LOVE my car, but need something now with better gas mileage and warranty. My friends can not believe I'm getting rid of it. I drove a 5.0 from 1989-1993, then another 5.0 from 1993-2003....then my Saleen. I'm known as The Saleen girl....cuz you don't see many girls driving a Saleen. Thanks for your input.

Don't feel too bad. I had a dealership offer me $900 for my 2000 Roush when I bought my Explorer about 3 years ago. I wasn't even thinking of trading it in.... they said that took into account the "Roush parts" it had. I told them my rear tires cost more than that - no thanks.

Try some of the local forums. Not sure what part of FL you're in... if it's down South, StangsofSouthFlorida.com might be a help. I know there are forums in the bigger cities up North as well. What level of Saleen is your's?

Another option to look at is someone wanting to trade. I know a lot of people stuck in their 'gas savers' and would love to step up to a real toy.

The price on your Saleen will vary between 19,000 to 10,000 depending on the condition, mileage and what options are on it. NADA and Kelly Blue Book are just now getting specialty cars their place in the price books. A dealer that knows nothing about them base it off of just a GT, that is why you are getting the low amounts for it. Do not settle for that low of a offer.

Here are a couple of websites you can check out and get good info on your car.

http://saleenforums.soec.org/index.php
http://scoatalk.saleenclubofamerica.com/

Both of these sites are full of good info and can help you out alot.

Best bet will be finding the right person looking for a SALEEN too.

Not sure how many miles are on your car but I bought my 2001 Saleen S281 a couple months ago with 88k on the clock for right around $13k from a Toyota dealership that took it as a trade in.... I would assume they gave him right around 8-9k for the trade in, so expect that much from a trade in or just be patient and find the right person that will take her for $13k. The condition also makes a big difference, mine was immaculate, there were very few blemishes anywhere, which amazed me for a 10 year old car. Hope this helps, sorry you have to sell it

Lots of things dictate the price. Some of the biggest I've noticed is if the car is supercharged, convertible or coupe, and if it is stick. Obviously other things come into play like mileage and over all condition. If you've got the Saleen number for the car I can tell you what options it had on it.
