Hi new here, not new to mustangs but new to the New Edge mustangs. Just got an 02 GT, Mineral Grey. But it has a little problem. The Hood latch lever is broken and missing the bolts. No problem replacing the cable but I'm not sure what size the bolts are because they are missing. I'm sure the hex is probably something like an 8mm, but not sure about the rest, bolt length, thread type etc.

 

Go to Lowes and buy some various types and try to see if they will fit.

 

They are 8mm bolts.

You can buy these aftermarket replacements on eBay:


The bolts are 8mm, with the washers is 12mm.

Says, for any 12mm or 1/2" bolt on the car.

Can't find the thread pitch.

something.
