I have a on3 525 lph fuel pump instlaled, only issue is it wants a 12 gauge wiring upgrade minimum and i am electrically illiterate.

I tried to put the blue wire on the fuel pump side of the black/pink wire, then cut the fpdm side of black/pink and used it for signal, worked for a couple minutes then didnt again. No idea what to do now, all relays and fuses look fine and i already pressed the fuel pump cutt off button on drivers side to chekc if its enabled.

Red wire from 12v source by battery to the relay, then the yellow to black/pink on fpdm side
