My launches were fine. My R/T and 60' times are not bad, especially for the first time out. My R/T for the 3rd run was damn good IMO. If I could have hooked up, it could have possibly been the best run. Stupid oil.
Ok, I think it's between these two DRs:
Hoosier 275/40/17 Drag Radial
Mickey Thompson 275/40/17 Drag Radial
Opinions?

D4rb what time did you leave the track last night.. MY buddy lives right by there andI didnt get off work till around 1115 so I just went to my buddys house but I took my friends for a test drive by the track and I swore I saw your red stang leaving as I was driving by.. I dunno sure
Nah, wasn't there that late. The track got screwed up by people breaking their damn cars, so it was taking way too long to stage. I got 3 runs in, but when I went back for my 4th, I sat for 20 minutes and moved 5 feet. By that time it was after 9:30 pm, so I had to get going. I live in the Galleria area, so HRP is about an 45 min to 1 hour drive without traffic.
True, but I can say I raced poorly. I wasn't feeling too bad about my runs that night, but as I got to thinking about it, I became more and more disappointed. I've gotta do something to improve my times. I really didn't want to stay in the 14s all night.
The upside is, I have the opportunity to put some 17s with drag radials on the rear and I still need to install my Steeda UDPs. That should help some.
