I saw you got involved with the evolution thread. I didn't even read more than a few posts in that thread.

with vb6 I'm trying to use netsh with variables
for instance
netsh interface ipv6 add dns "interface name variable" "IPv6 address variable"
but I can't seem to find the right syntax for this
