if i got my liscence and havnt had it over 6 months what will my punishment be for having another person who isnt in my family in the car w/ me? thx

 

Are you saying that your license was suspended?

 

i know in florida that if you dont have someone in your car over 21 and u get stopped, you cant get your license untill your over 18, thats if you have your permit.

 

no i have my liscence but for the first 6 moths of having your liscence you cant drive w/ somone else in the car w/ you. i want to kno if i get pulled over and one of my friends were in the car what would be the punishment

 

Its probably a suspension for 6 months.

 

if they are over 18 it is alright, if not you are in trouble

 

i know here in NC it is kinda the same way, for the first 6 months you cant have more than 1 person under 21(i think) in the car wiht you and you cant drive after 9 unless to work. if you get a ticket for anything during that time then your 6 months restarts from the time you are convicted. most of the cops around here arent that strict on the extra people, they will just give you a warning.

 

u can only be sited for that non family member law if u get stopped for somethin else pretty sure they have a pamplet printed here in brunswick about all the under 18 new laws all are only punishable if u did something else
