that is with a cam and i would go with the 58cc to keep it close to the 9.1 compression , might peak the hp a little more seeing how the set up i have droped mine to like 8.8:1. i see you run your timeing maxed , do you have any trouble with it wanting to drag once the car is up to normal operateing temp?
I was gonna say thats a good HP increase w/o upgrading the cam. I thinking of the crower 15111, only heard good about it everywhere. I was thinking of doing crane 1.7 roller rockers on either GT40/ps or the GT40x's.As for the timing, by drag do you mean the rpm's flucuate, b/c when warmed up at idle it might drop like 50 rpms or so.

i just ment far as starting does it want to crank slow when it is up to temp , i ran mine at 14 and it wanted to drag abit once it got up to opperateing temp.
with the 1.7's and that cam you should br good to go .

No, mine cranks over fine. The cam table doens't show spec w/ 1.7rr's. Am I supposed to use 1.66rr's?

it does with the cams that you can run 1.7's with , the others can not have bigger than 1.6

comp cam, 218/224 at 50, .512/.512 114lsa

car runs great, daily driven, or was untill i got my 02. it idled fine, but i did somethings to make that happen. others have had problems w. that cam
