Default GT-40 components w/ SD

I plan on getting a Cobra intake, FRPP headers, and some used GT-40P heads. How well would this setup work with SD cause I don't want to do a Mass Air conversion. Is anyone running a similar setup w/o problems?

i am running the 40p top end on mine the frpp headers might have some issues mounting to the head and giveing plug clearence ,far as useing the cobra intake idk you would have to ask nitrousd85 about that he is runnin the 40 head and cobra intake.
i would think you would have no trouble with that set up .

I meant to say the FRPP P-headers....I thought GT40 upper/lowrintake would be compatible with GT40p heads and vice versa. So I thought a cobra upper/lowr intake could run w/ GT40/P heads.

Cool...thank alot. Sometimes I lean towards doing the MAF conversion, I'v decided I want to take SD to the limits w/o having problems.

now the best hp you will see with stock sd is like 280 at the rear tires but if you use like a 100 shot spray it should get you in the 300+ range .now if you want more hp you will have to look towards megasquirt or xfi to stay sd or go maf or go carb.

Could I make this power with or w/o a cam? Also, as for new GT40x heads, do I want the 58cc or 62cc. Thanx stangbanger87

that is with a cam and i would go with the 58cc to keep it close to the 9.1 compression , might peak the hp a little more seeing how the set up i have droped mine to like 8.8:1. i see you run your timeing maxed , do you have any trouble with it wanting to drag once the car is up to normal operateing temp?
