Default which intake mani?

Im looking to convert my 5.0 to carb. Im going to use an edelbrock performer series 600cfm carb and prob e303 cam(open to other cam choices, i just dont want to deal with piston to valve clearance) and eventually I want AFR 185's, but for now im going to leave e7 or gt40. the question that i have is what mani will give me the most power. i was looking at edelbrock rpm air gap but i herd that others give more power. which ones will giveme more power?
