A little back ground on the car. previous owner "Mochainc" I bought a 1987 GT that was still stock with AOD. The last owner though that he knows how to work on cars. When I bought it all vacume lines (including FPR) were unhooked. Car ran despite this. He put a hog in the rearend wiht out shimming and you know were that led.

So to date I have put a disc rear form a 93 cobra and fixed all of the vacume problem pulled the spout and set the base timing. Now the problem that I am having is driving me mad. The car will crank with no problem. The problem 1) is the idel will not drop below 1000 and the car has no power when you get on it. After running for a while the idel will fall way off to nearly a stall and then it will jack up to about 1200 and stay there. Any ideas?????
