Default carb conversion

Since my 88's sensors and wiring, vacuum etc is screwed up, and i gotta pull the motor cause something is rattling after i installed the transmission, Im just going to switch to a carbed setup. My main question is, what all am i going to need to do this? I have intake, and a carburator already. I just want to know how hard it is to hook up throttle cable, TV cable, etc. I know i need a return style regulator. Also, Since im taking the fuel injection out, Im guessing i cant keep the stock dizzy and computer right? I need to go with a older style dizzy? Thanks for any help guys. I searched but didnt find any of this.

probably going to have to buy a cable. You could try one from an 85 model. I would probably just get one that needs to be cut to fit. You will need to either make a plate or buy one for the cable to sit on.

You will need a distributor and an ignition. Maybe a coil too. Never seen a tfi coil used with a carb set-up.

Hmm, That is a good idea about trying one from a 85 though. Where can you buy all this stuff? as far cables go. I just bought the $130 performance tv cable and i sure hope i can reuse this.

just get an aftermarket cable, pick up for 50bucks a hei dizzy, or you can build a full duraspark ignition, pick up a points style dizzy and slap an elim. kit in it.. holley sells a reg its 4.5-9psi, one in 2outs on it. your going to need a fuel pressure gauge, your going to need some fuel injection hose, your going to need to do wiring.... its really not a hard process its just time consuming. and plus you need to know or know someone that knows what there doing.... oh dont forget, your going to need more misc. things. pm me for more ?'s.... and next time use a search function.

I just used a throttle cable from an 85. The Eddy intake came with a mounting bracket.
I also used the dizzy from 85 GT and duraspark box. The wiring is easy as hell
