Default Good Start?

Hey guys. I've got almost 400 rwhp but no traction off the line. I ussually pull 2.2 60' times on my normal street tires, but i cant power shift 2nd without spinning. I'm planning on gettin some adjustable lower control arms and a set of subframe connectors. Will these help any off the line? The cars my daily driver when im home from school so I don't want to mess up the handling on the street. Thanks.

Default RE: Good Start?

The control arms will directly help with traction. The subframes, indirectly... By stiffening the chassis it will definitely take away some flex that is caused from hard launches... Subframes have been shown to improve 60 ft times...

Items that help with traction...

1. Tires - really important
2. Control arms - upper/lower
3. panhard Bar/torque arm
4. spring rates
5. shock/strut valving

Maximum Motorsports makes great sets of control arms for drag racing and road racing applications...
