my 06 mustang gt automatic makes a click noise whe engages the 4th gear , is that a deffect ,have you guys heard that in your cars?

 

We have not heard of anything specific with our customers.... I would definitely post within the 05-07 or General Forums on MustangForums. If others are experiencing this problem.... you will get better responses there.

Also you may want to take it to the dealership if its still under warranty.... that is why you pay a premium for a new car... to help give you piece of mind and a warranty in these situations...

 

My 05 makes no noise when shifting, other than the tires chirping.(automatic)
