Default RE: 96 lowering kits.

We never recommend lowering a Mustang over 2 inches. 3 inches is extremely low.

We have a few spring options which lower 2 inches...

1. Eibach Sportline Springs for 79-04 Mustangs

2. StangSuspension Series II Springs for 94-04 Mustangs

A two inch drop will look great, but still allow you to correct alignment, bumpsteer, roll center, etc.... and you will not have severe ground clearance issues.

If you absolutely must lower your Mustang 3 inches, I would only do it temporarily (car shows, special events etc.) and use a coil-over kit.

The Maximum Motorsports Complete Coil-Over Kits for 94-04 Mustangswill lower your car 3 inches... and it will allow you to raise it back up to a more reasonable height during daily driving.

Sincerely,
