Arent you the guy that only runs 14.6 in an automatic with mods? Dude I don't base my information off what i see on the internet being displayed by KARV's....I go by what i've experienced....

 

uhh.. i have a blown 2004 GT 5 speed (with a bunch of other boltons). i don't base my information off of things i read. i base it on stuff i've actually seen IRL or in videos on the net (which isn't much better than paper. but oh well).

That's the reason why I came up with the word KARV's...which means Kiddie Amateur Racing Videos...

Why...Because there's just to many Kids on here with no clue how to drive their cars...They go to the track and run 15's in cars that are capable of low 14's high 13's in the hands of good drivers...

They then go out on the street and race fellas in cars that are actually slower but loose to them...The video's end up on the net and now every one thinks just because a few guys are lousy drivers that it's the car and not the driver....

A prime example is the recent Cobalt SS vs Mustang GT debate. Everyone on the Cobalt forum was saying they were beating 99-04 GT's stock...So some kids get a camera and goes out to try and pick on a GT...well they ended up running into a GT in the hands of a good driver and got their a$$ waxed...That's my point...I don't believe anything posted on the net unless it's something I've experienced or it's done from a reliable source.

(OP) BOY OH BOY! Speaking of SRT4s!!!!!!! I'd like to report that at approxamitly 6:45 this evening 3/9/06 a white SRT4 w/ 3 occupants WAS KILLED by a SILVER 02' MUSTANG GT from a dig at an executive airport exit. "you ready? GO!" I launch , niether of us spun tires, put over a 1/2 car on him , chirp 2nd pull A LITTLE till hes at my back tires, hit 3rd he pulled to my door and stayed there till we both hit the breaks REAL hard as the light was comming up . He hopped out did something to his engine and said good race. I KNOW THAT BYTCH HAD HIS WASTE GATE OPEN.... oh well ponder that SRT lovers thats two in a few days , what can u say now???

The point I was making was that for all the doubt my car is given(NO MATTER HOW CLOSE TO STOCK IT IS), and how questionable the kill was - I go right back out and end up w/ the same result if not better. Once might be questionable, but 2 is undeniable. AGAIN, I dont post my races to brag about my car, but when the haters hate I'm not gunna let em' talk sh*t....
