Simple question: will i beat a stock 6 speed RX-8 with my 01 gt and the mods listed below?

 

I would say yes, I walked one last night in my 88 gt hatch

 

Hell yeah.. You would blow its doors off.

 

If you really want a race out of it you might try starting in 2nd gear , or backing up a car and a 1/2

i used to think that a RX-8 was fast, like an excellent roll race, but apparently we are both wrong...

they must just be good for handling because everyone seems to think they are toast for a 99+,, especially from a dig

Heck....You don't even need mods...You can whip him good stock...

 

Yeah, those RX-8s are all show and no go, not like RX-7s.

 

They weren't exactly built as a drag car with all 150LB-FT or torque... However, they beat 350Z's around a track and would probably be a close match for a non Z06 Vette'. At the strip it is probably a low-mid 14 sec car....
