I absolutely left my buddies 01 Lightning when we were both stock. It was a roll and he got the start, it was in 2nd, about 3-4k rpms, he punched it, I did the same, and by third I was at least 2-3 cars ahead...

Oh shoot, nanaki I thought you said you lost haha. My fault, I'm a moron. Congrats. I raced my buddies today. I lost to him today by about a car and a half. I need some 4:10's and other stuff.

Raced a lightning from a roll. Went from a 55 one on 3. Had my GF in the car. He did the honking and stupid me wasn't in third, so it took me about a half second to get in there when he took off on 3. my front bumper was at his door through all of 3rd. Funny thing is, I thought I lost and he started breaking. As soon as I hit 4th, I started passing him like he was hitting the brakes. So I started slowing down. At the light he said that I scared him when I started braking. Apparently he was still giving it his all still. I should have just kept going. [:@]

Did better then I did against a stock lightning from a roll... he had a really good jump on me though. I didnt start really gaining back ground untill we broke 110 or so. if we woulda pushed if further I coulda flew by him.
