Going to the track
Im going to the track on wednesday for the first time. Im a little confused about the burnouts. I have nitto 555r drag radials and I do not want to do a 10 second burnout. I would like to do a 1 second burnout because thats all I need to hook up and I cant afford to purchase new tires because Im probably going to get in about 3-5 runs. How would I be able to do such a small burnout without leaving water on my tires? My friends say just do a big one and ease out of it and the water will evaporate. I dont reall want to do that. They also say use the ebrake. Does the ebrake stop the front tires? Mine isnt very good. Could I just rev it up real high drop the clutch and put it back in real fast?... Any suggestions? Thanks
drive around the water, and reverse close to the water box, get close enought to be on whet pavment but not in the standing water, then go ahead and do a little burnout. Why did you bother buying drag radials if your concerned about doing a burnout?
