This guy that works at my job just bought a new srt-4 and on our luch break i decided to race him knowing i was going to lose since i have a 3.8L stock mustang which is only like 150 or so hp compared to his i believe 230hp.......but anyways from a light we both gun it and he holds back and lets me pull.........then he just flies by like it was nothing........those srt-4 are fast for the price tag.......but i got reveange on a nissan sentry....... thought he was bad with his fart can.....all i can say is poofff.....smoked him....oh does anyone know what the srt-4 run in the 1/4 mile

High 13's @ 102 or so. Yes, they are capable of it, even if most of the 'tard 20 year-old drivers aren't. Good death.

 

not trying to sound ignorent but high 13's I highly doubt it. Road and track did a test on the srt-4 with professional drivers and came out with a 14.4 @97 mph.there quick for a 4 banger but no way is it a 13 second car.especially being front drive cars they will tend to spin of the line more.

 

There are LOTS of stock SRT's running 13's. Go over to SRT forums and check it out, you'll find tons.

 

Road & Track also got low 13's out of a C6 Vette; they suck. Motor Trend ran the older, less powerful version of the SRT-4 to a 13.9 @ 102. [/magazine racing]

 

Yar, R&T CANNOT DRIVE. They were actually running 12.3 @ 116 with the new C6 Z06 (now officially named the Annihilator). I've heard of stock one's going 11.55 @ 126. Not too mention, the same thing as happened with numerous other cars. I saw one article where a LS1 Fbody could only muster a 14 flat. Those ****'s can't drive. Most magazines can't, with exceptions going to GMPP and MM&FFs.

Edit: Don't know if he's the fastest, but saw one's guys BONE STOCK time slip in the Annihilator at 11.4 at 127...

 

Its a 97 model
