My friend just picked up a 2003 WRX. Its silver. Its not an STI, but it is turbo'd.. The dealer claims it was running 13psi but I dont know about that...
He is "getting used to it" untill this weekend or early next week, then we are gonna run them.. might be my last race in this car

I'll try and get more crappy vid's.. might have someone ride with me one run and him the other to cam it. Should be a pretty good race if I can hook.. My tires suck so bad right now, I could probably burn all through second gear at a dead stop. [&:] Hard and bald street tires + 4.10 gears = no traction [8D]

And yes I will let everyone know how it goes and like I said try to get vid's. I did the same thing with a 240 a while back [8D]

 

I'm sure you'll win, especially with the gears, but who knows. 13psi is right, stock WRXs are tuned to roughly 13.5psi from the factory.

Are you making 264 Hp at the wheels or 264 at the crank?

Either way you will beat him beings stock WRX's only put down about 180 WHP

Nope, the STI is 14.5 from the factory, the WRX is 13.5.

 

1997 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT 5.4 14.0
2003 Subaru Impreza WRX 5.7 14.4

I am only familiar with the STI's but based on these times it should be an exciting race, mainly because the AWD will sit next to you at the beginning for a bit and then fall back nice and easy
