Actually...yes. KB 2.2L with all the supporting mods and a solid axle. Went 10.80's last time out on 642rwhp.

MT ET streets, not a good street tire at all....GREAT drag tire though.

how was your short time? would a full slick have gotten the time down more?

 

Honestly...I went a 1.5x short time. The car won't run much better than it did...which is sad considering I have an aftermarket supercharger/rearend swap on a v8. I've been looking into selling the car and going with a different platform. Probably an LS1/2/7. I've spent sooooo much money on this car it's crazy. Anyone who tells you these cars are cheap to make go fast is full of ****.

 

well, im aware that fast is never cheap...we have had quite a few members here who had big dyno numbers, but no track times...

youre not from pittsburgh, are you? there was a guy there with a KB cobra running in the 10s on DOTs...

10. 80's...you're boosted and an aftermarket blower at that. Considering a stock BLOWN Cobra runs 12.8's and my stock plain Z ran 13.1's you need a lesson in losing. Now running n/a I run 10.50's with "supporting mods"...juicing I'm in the 9's. So boost for boost...you lose!!!

LS1killer. Wow, a 1.5 short time is very impressive. Must have pulled the wheels some I'd guess. We are glad to have a high hp cobra owner who knows what it takes to get one of those bad boys to stick.

You should post one of those timeslips in the timeslip section....it would be a near site record. Definitely the best for a terminator so far. We had a guy with an '03 who only managed low 12s with about the same HP you are putting down.

Tell us more about this thing. What year is your car? 03 or 04? Got any pics or video. I would love to show it to my buddy with a TA who thinks he's god because he runs 11s LOL.
